My plain language code book says not to report this code unless pulse generator is being removed as well. I can not find a code for removal of Epicardial electrodes only. All the other removal codes I see are for transvenous. Webcodes for insertion of lead(s). For example, a single chamber ventricular system with His bundle placement should report the generator placement (e.g., 0JH604Z) and the atrial lead placement (02H63JZ).
