WebThe Govt. ferry does not run over to N. Eleuthera. It only runs to Sp. Wells and Harbour Island from Nassau. There is always a few small boats at the Jeans Bay dock on N. Eleuthera ready to take you on a five min. ride over to Sp. Wells. Same there with small boats to return you to N. Eleuthera. Most likely they run all day during daylight hours. WebFerry service into Spanish Wells and Harbour Island is halted for about a month during hurricane season. Service into Governor's Harbour is infrequent and takes 5 hours as they are not using their fastest ferry on that route. The ferry is a nice change, but if your goal is to get to Eleuthera in a timely manner then you should fly.
