WebFriends of the Towans AGM November 2024 Friends of the Towans has carried out more than 1,500 hours of practical conservation work since becoming a registered charity a year ago. Our AGM, which takes place on 7th November, offers an opportunity to hear more about this work. WebFriends of the Towans – Godrevy Warren. This is a new site for the Friends – it is the large dune system you look across when working at Gwithian Green. It has been grazed for quite a few years, but scrub has been encroaching. You will cut areas back to enable cattle to move around and to restore some short turf areas.
