There is a utility you can choose to disable these updates, while not a good idea from a security standpoint. You need a CH341A & SOIC8 test clip which will allow you to read/write to the physical bios on the motherboard, you can find these on amazon, you also preferably need linux (Ubuntu is easiest) or shady 3rd party windows software.
