WebJun 11, 2024 · @DavidW Actually, having had experience on Speedplays, I have a feeling that taking the pedal body off (if able) is better than squirting grease in through the gun. The grease frequently leaks out the wrong side of the pedal if you use the gun before finally getting extruded through the inboard side. WebIf you’ve done that and it’s still stiff it probably needs the bearings replaced. There is a small screw in the end with a cover plate, you take that off and pump grease in until it starts to push out from around the spindle in the other side. I have the exact same mode of speedplay and I do that yearly.
