Headrush 112 vs 108
WebMy Headrush is connected to it, as well as my wife’s electric drum kit. We use it separate and also together, I used to own the 112, sold it and later purchased the 108. WebDec 17, 2024 · As far as loud goes though, the headrush 108 can get pretty loud, but with some amps/models, they get overwhelmed beyond a certain volume, and start to kind of fart out in the bass. The 112 would probably handle the highest volumes better, but I don't have direct experience to confirm.

The Alto is only slightly more expensive so I think it'd be worth it for a better product. I wish I could tell you. Maybe it's as simple as 10" vs 8" woofers. WebThe powercab+ speaker/cabinet just sounds crummy, you can tell the electronics is doing its job for flat response and modeling, just lousy sounding otherwise, maybe a bad speaker choice. The headrush frfr-112 is just plain horrible, muddy/muffled, boomy, some kind of resonance, I suppose due to the cheap plastic enclosure, sounds plasticky. I bought it for when I had the HeadRush Pedalboard which was a nice unit but not really on the same level as the KPA, but then it is half the price. I chose the FR108 as opposed to the 112 as id heard it displayed less bass. folly house beachWebJul 22, 2024 · Both the 108 and the 112 have the same power rating so the volume difference is probably not that great anyhow excepting the larger speaker on the 112 pushing more air. I don't know the actual x-max of the DXR10 woofer. If it's 3 mm, the number goes down by 3 dB so then it's 110 dB.
