WebRobert, thanks for your reply. So if I use an original thermistor I have to remove the fridge, right? Don't have anyone to help me get this out of the cabinet. That's another reason why the snip the tip is the way I'm leaning. . But the ohms showed ok.. idk.. don't want to replace a 40 dollar part and have the circuit board be the problem. .
