WebJun 30, 2024 · Apparently Dell is discontinuing the D3100 docks and is recommending (pushing) the WD Thunderbolt series. Another alternative is the D6000 which is still USB 3.0 I believe and similar to the D3100 (drivers, size, etc..). I have heard some good things but mostly bad things about the WD docks.
