WebStudents are required to complete 120 hours (3 credits) of internship experience working directly with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to fulfill the internship requirement for the DDHS program. INTERNSHIP HOURS AND CREDITS. Students spend approximately 9 hours per week at their internship site through the semester. WebThe number of credits you get depends on the amount of time you spend working at the internship. Generally, you will need to spend one full day per week for 14 weeks for 3 credits; 2 days for 6 credits; 3 days for 9 credits. We don’t usually approve any one internship for more than 9 credits.
